Dog Digs is a safe, secure dog boarding facility located in Houston, BC. We offer short and long-term boarding services to dog owners. To ensure the dogs in residence receive the quality care they deserve, we keep numbers low. There are 4 kennels in house.

About the Owner
Cheryl Mcrae
Owner / Operator
Cheryl has over 30 years experience working with dogs in different capacities. With her training in Dog Sports, as well as Competition Obedience, Tracking and Behaviour Modification, Cheryl has successfully owned and operated Dog Digs Kennel Facility for over 10 years. In addition to this, she is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and former Dog Control Officer.
Her affiliations include professional membership with International Association of Canine Professionals, Canadian Kennel Club, German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada and 54 North IPO K9 Club.
Cheryl opened Dog Digs because of her desire to provide the same safe, positive and caring boarding experience that she would want for her own dogs.
Our Commitment to Your Canine Companions
To ensure your pup has a pleasant experience at Dog Digs, we collect behaviour and health information for every canine visitor.
If your dog is a social creature, we’ll properly introduce them to the other dogs before allowing them to play together to ensure it remains a safe environment for all.
If he or she isn’t very social, but does have toys or other objects they love to play with, we encourage you to bring them!

We understand every dog is unique and have their own individual needs. Your dog’s day will be customized and tailored to suit their needs so they are able to have the best experience possible.
